ARCHIVE: Farm health planning: The state of FHP in England

Defra commissioned ADAS to carry out an independent Evidence Baseline survey (PDF) in 2006 to give a snapshot of the uptake of FHP in the different livestock sectors.  Defra’s Farm Practices Survey 2009 (PDF) subsequently measured some key indicators from the Evidence Baseline. 

The two surveys are not identical so care needs to be taken in interpreting the results.  An analysis by Defra (PDF) statisticians compares the figures to assess progress.
